The Desire 516 is available in Dark Gray and Pearl White color options for a price of Rs 14,200 and it will start selling from the end of this month.
Talking of specifications, the HTC Desire 516 features a 5 inch qHD LCD display that packs a resolution of 960×540 pixels and a pixel density of 220 pixels per inch that should be sufficient to ensure the best viewing experience for the most common tasks. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that is clocked at 1.2 GHz that is paired with Adreno 302 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM for an enhanced and smooth performance. To handle the imaging requirements, the handset includes a 5 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with LED flash, BSI and HD 720p video recording. In addition to this, there is a 2 MP front-facing shooter for making video calls and for clicking stunning seflies. Powering the device is a 1,950 mAh battery that is claimed to deliver 9 hours of talk time. When it comes to the software, the Desire 516 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it is likely to receive an update in the future. Furthermore, the Sense UI adds features such as Video Highlights and BlinkFeed to the handset along with others such as Offline Reading mode.
