Lava Iris 450 COLOUR which is the next ball in Lava’s “Super Over” is now listed on official webpage. The company has not yet disclosed the price of the smartphone but it is expected to be somewhere around 7,000 INR.
The phone carries a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with FWVGA 854 x 480 pixel resolution which is above average in the expected price range. It is not exactly slim with 10.5 mm body thickness, but has a moderate weight of 136 grams. Lava is counting on looks here, as the highlighter feature is multiple color options available. The processor used is 1.3 GHz MT6572 Dual Core processor, which is what the present generation dual core MediaTek chipsets are shipping with(Unlike other Lava phones with last generation MediaTek chips). The Chipset also houses Mali 400 GPU, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. 32 GB MicroSD support is also present for secondary storage. Imaging hardware maxes MT6572 to its limits with a 5 MP shooter at the rear and a VGA shooter at the front. The rear camera is a fixed focus camera but it can record 720p HD videos and has LED flash support. The battery capacity is 1800 mAh and lava claims this will give you up to 8 hours of talk time on 3G, which is decent enough for budget Android phones. Other features include 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS and Wi-Fi. Lava has put up a decent spec sheet with its dual core smartphone Lava Iris 450 COLOUR and is highlighting the availability in multiple color options as evident from the image above. If Lava manages to price it right, it might just work. Lava will soon reveal the price of this phone and next in line is Lava Iris 406Q.
