The retailer lists 5 inch Full HD display, where as the import data suggests a phablet sized 5.5 Inch display which makes more sense as Micromax is already selling Canvas Knight with 5 Inch Full HD display and similar set of specifications.

The 2 GHz MT6592 octa core chipset with 2 GB RAM and Mali 450 MP4 GPU will fuel Android 4.4 KitKat operating system on Micromax A300 for smooth and efficient performance. The retailer also lists a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter similar to what was present on Micromax Canvas Knight A350. Since we know that Micromax’s Hexa-core device is in its final testing stages, Micromax A300 might very well be a hexa core smartphone with phablet sized display. If priced right, this could be a powerful competitor in 15K to 20K price range.
