Simmtronics XPAD FUNDROID Q1 and XPAD FUNDROID Q4 sport a 3.5 inch display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution. Both of these smartphones are powered by a 1 GHz single core processor and support dual SIM connectivity. Camera modules are also same with 2 MP/ VGA camera combination.
Simmtronics XPAD FUNDROID Q1 however runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread O.S. which is quite obsolete now. It also packs a slightly bigger 1400 mAh battery as compared to FUNDROID Q4 with 1250 mAh battery. The RAM capacity is also double at 512 MB in FUNDROID Q1. The FUNDROID Q4 on the other hand comes with 256 MB of RAM and comparatively better Android 4.0 ICS. The internal storage in both cases is extendable to 32 GB using MicroSD card. Both of these smartphones have been priced at Rs. 3,499.
Simmtronics XPAD FUNDROID Q2 and XPAD FUNDROID Q5 both sport a 4 inch display with WVGA 800 x 480 resolution which is pretty good considering the price tag. Both of these smartphones run on Android 4.0 ICS operating system and drive their power from a humble 1 GHz Single core processor. FUNDROID Q2 sports a 2MP/ VGA camera combination which primarily differentiates it from FUNDROID Q5 with 5 MP/ VGA camera module with LED flash. You will also get two replaceable back covers with FUNDROID Q2. Rest of the spec sheet remains same including 1400 mAh battery, Dual SIM, 2G Connectivity and 512 MB RAM. Both of these smartphones have been priced at Rs. 3,999.
The Simmtronics XPAD AMAZOID M1 priced at Rs. 8,999 has a 4.7 inch display with FWVGA resolution. The phone is powered by 1.2 GHz Dual core processor backed by 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. The Battery capacity is 1800 mAh. Primary camera has an 8 MP sensor with LED flash support and you will get a 2 MP shooter at the front. This Dual SIM smartphone is the only device in this lineup with 3G support. Simmtronics foray into the Smartphone segment can be described as a decent start. There is a long way ahead before the Xpad series smartphones make a name for themselves. The FUNDROID series will give you good value for money at respective price range but the AMAZOID M1 seems overpriced.
